Last updated 9/16/2025, "Printable" is a flier with notable events listed. "Candy Cornfield" is a similar list, but with only horror-free events.
As always, let us know what we missed. As old events are deleted, new ones will become visible.
I'm experimenting with a new format this year. Once the events really start rolling in it gets really hard to keep the updates current with the old system.

A outdoor live performance along a walking trail that sometimes happens at the Museum of the Rockies and is not to be missed when it does. Probably details will also be at the same site as pour and gore.
Lots of fun stuff happens down in Dillon, but as of right now, but so far the website still has last year's info.
Soutwest Montana's best haunted house. No news yet, but they did just update their profile picture... You can follow them here.
From Cutler Bros. Productions in Deer Lodge to the Star Theater in Whitehall and everything in between including all of our local Butte theaters, we're scanning the line-ups for anything mysterious and spooky.
We are not affiliated with Montana Haunted Attractions in any way, but they're the official go-to statewide attraction directory.
Butte Halloween focuses on locations within a 2-hour drive of our hometown of Butte, America, including Anaconda, Whitehall, Deer Lodge, Helena, Bozeman, Dillon, and points in-between.
We have nothing against Missoula, Great Falls, or Billings, they're just not in our jurisdiction.
These guys have the scoop on any place in the state worth a 2+ hour drive.
Destination Montana has a listing for local Missoula events.
Visit Great Falls has a similar one.
Billings has a Facebook Page for local Halloween events and Billings 365 maintains a Halloween listing as well.
This list is the best I found for the Kalispell area.

If you're wondering why Butte Halloween, LLC hasn't been as active as in years past, the quick answer is that it blew apart in the apocalypse of 2020 and hasn't been reformed yet... but it will be! Plans are underway to form Butte Halloween, Inc. next fall in 2025. The reason is that, as some of you will know, the Offutt Family has long been at the heart of Butte Halloween's activities, with Gabriel Offutt having served as President of the LLC the entire time it was in operation. Now one of his sons is 19, and the other turns 18 in October of 2025, at which point the three of them will be enough to legally run Butte Halloween as an 501c3 Corporation.
This means we'll be able to get back to doing our more ambitious projects like The Butte Halloween Carnival and potentially a lot more fun things in the off season.
Stay tuned for more details!
Butte is passionate about Halloween and we want to create a space to share that passion with others. Our purpose is to provide a platform for Halloween enthusiasts to come together and celebrate spooky fun all year.
We value creativity, inclusivity, and fun. We believe that Halloween is for everyone, regardless of age, gender, or background. We also believe in emphasizing the more wholesome parts of our culture and providing alternatives to the more addictive or dangerous influences in town.
We are committed to tracking down, cataloging, and sharing everything spooky, silly, or fun in our area. We update whenever we learn something new, and there's always something happening, so check back often.
